When School-Run Transportation isn't an Option
Many schools today no longer have buses, making it difficult for parents to get their children to and from school, and causing huge traffic issues at school drop off and pickup zones. In cities like Los Angeles school transportation is an even bigger issue as traffic is already at an unmanageable level. GoKid can solve this issue with our community-driven school carpool program, GoKid Connect. GoKid Connect is a platform that makes the planning of school carpools in LA easy, and offers optimized route navigation to decrease drive time and traffic congestion. We are working with schools in LA and the surrounding areas to help parents connect, organize carpools, and get kids to school in areas where buses and public transportation aren’t an option.

Map View of School Families
With GoKid Connect the families in your school can see other school families on a map to find out who lives nearby and might be interested in carpooling.
Filter by Grade
To make sure of a good match, families can filter the map by grade to ensure they are carpooling with other kids around the same age.
Custom Notes
Families can also add custom notes about the type of carpools they're looking for - whether to school, after-school clubs, sports, or anything else!
Reach Out and Connect
When parents find another family nearby with kids in the same grade and activities, they can contact them directly within the app to start the carpooling conversation.
Seamless Carpool Setup
When a few families agree to carpool - they can start the school rideshare and send out the invitations right from GoKid Connect and it will appear in their GoKid apps.
School Dashboard
With the school dashboard, school admins can view stats of how many families in the school use GoKid Connect, how many carpools have been set up, and more!
